Federico Gonzalez Fatally Struck in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Loop 410

On June 7, 2025, Federico Gonzalez, a 20-year-old resident of San Antonio, Texas, was killed in a pedestrian accident on Loop 410 near Perrin Beitel. According to the San Antonio Police Department, the incident occurred around 1:50 a.m. when Gonzalez, who had left a nearby dance hall, attempted to cross the highway and was struck by a Toyota Tundra. Gonzalez was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, 42-year-old Joseph Cortez, was evaluated by authorities, found to be intoxicated, and subsequently arrested.
