Ashley McKinney Involved in Fatal Noble County Rollover Accident

On June 16, 2025, a rollover accident occurred in Noble County, Oklahoma, resulting in the death of one individual and injuries to two others. The incident took place at approximately 9:21 p.m. on County Road 150, approximately five miles southeast of Perry. The vehicle, driven by 29-year-old Boyd Sumpter of Perry, was traveling south when it departed the roadway, rolled over once, and came to rest upright. During the rollover, both Sumpter and passenger Ashley McKinney, 22, of Cushing, were ejected from the vehicle. McKinney was treated at the scene for injuries, while Sumpter was pronounced dead after being pinned under the vehicle. A second passenger, 24-year-old Sheyanna McKinney of Cushing, sustained a leg injury but was not ejected. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) confirmed that neither Sumpter nor Ashley McKinney was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and that Sumpter was driving under the influence.
