Fatal Crash in Southeast Oklahoma Claims Life of Olivia Rodriguez, Injures Three
On the evening of Monday, May 5, 2025, a tragic collision in southeast Oklahoma claimed the life of one woman and left three others injured. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at approximately 7:15 p.m. on US-70 near the Bryan/Choctaw county line, east of Bennington. The incident involved a sedan and an SUV, with troopers noting that one vehicle veered left of center, resulting in the devastating crash. Weather conditions at the time were reported as cloudy and wet, potentially exacerbating the situation.
The deceased, identified as 24-year-old Olivia Rodriguez of Bonham, was a passenger in the SUV. The driver of the SUV and a two-year-old passenger were airlifted to area hospitals, where they were admitted in stable condition. Similarly, the sedan’s driver was transported to a local hospital and is also listed in stable condition.
