Alejo Gonzalez Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Accident Near Moses Lake
On July 28, 2025, at approximately 9:25 PM, a fatal collision occurred on State Route 171 near Moses Lake, Washington. Alejo Gonzalez, a 73-year-old resident of Moses Lake, was struck by a southbound SUV while attempting to cross the highway without utilizing a designated crosswalk. The impact resulted in Gonzalez’s immediate death at the scene of the accident. The driver, identified as 41-year-old Amy Long, remained uninjured, as did her three passengers: an 11-year-old boy, a 16-year-old boy, and 44-year-old Troy Long.
