Ashley and Emily Skogen Injured in Fatal Crash on Highway 67 in Omro Township, Minnesota – September 13, 2025

A fatal motor vehicle collision occurred on September 13, 2025, at the intersection of Highway 67 and County Road 11 in Omro Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Chevrolet Impala traveling northbound on County Road 11 collided with a westbound Ford F250 pickup truck. The driver of the Impala, 45-year-old Amanda Jane Baumann of Granite Falls, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Among the occupants of the Ford F250 were Ashley Sharlynn Skogen, 33, of Clearwater, and Emily Elizabeth Skogen, 31, of Maple Lake. Both individuals sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Dawson Hospital for medical evaluation and care. The incident remains under investigation, and authorities have confirmed that alcohol was not a contributing factor.
