Fatal Car Accident Claims Life of Nazly Munoz in Des Plaines

On June 1, 2025, at approximately 11:55 p.m., a fatal collision occurred on Algonquin Road near Leslie Lane in Des Plaines, Illinois. Nazly Rodriguez-Munoz was a passenger in a Toyota Prius driven by a 28-year-old woman from Des Plaines. The vehicle was traveling eastbound when it rear-ended a Volvo semitruck. The driver of the Prius reported that the truck was parked along the roadside with no lights on, while the truck driver claimed he was moving slowly in the eastbound direction.
