Fatal Crash in Odessa Claims Life of William Thompson, Brittany Redmond Involved

On Monday evening, a tragic vehicle collision occurred in Odessa, Texas, resulting in the death of one individual and injuries to two others. According to Public Information Officer Steve LeSueur of the Odessa Police Department (OPD), the incident took place at approximately 6:22 p.m. at the intersection of Faudree and Eastridge. The crash involved a black Ford F-250, driven by 33-year-old Brittany Redmond, traveling southbound, and a blue Hyundai Sonata, driven by 29-year-old Trintin Conner, traveling northbound. Authorities determined that Conner failed to yield the right of way, leading to the collision with Redmond’s vehicle.

William Thompson, aged 30, who was seated in the front passenger seat of the Sonata, was transported to Medical Center Hospital (MCH) where he was later pronounced dead. Both Redmond and Conner sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were also taken to MCH for treatment. The Odessa Police Department, along with Odessa Fire Rescue, responded swiftly to the scene. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash remains ongoing, and no additional details have been released at this time.
