Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash in Shawnee Claims Lives of Aiden Martin and Emmaleigh Arnold

On the evening of Friday, March 21, 2025, a devastating multi-vehicle collision occurred on Interstate 40 in Shawnee, Oklahoma, claiming the lives of two Cleveland County residents. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that the incident took place around 5:45 p.m. on westbound I-40 at mile marker 182, involving five vehicles, including a semi-trailer. The victims, identified as 22-year-old Aiden Martin of Norman and 21-year-old Emmaleigh Arnold of Moore, were passengers in a Kia Forte and were pronounced deceased at the scene. In addition to the fatalities, three other individuals sustained injuries: the driver of the Forte was treated at a hospital and released, while two other drivers were admitted to OU Health in good condition.
