Heidi Lynn Wanty Injured in Warsaw Township Car Crash
On August 9, 2025, at 12:21 p.m., a vehicular collision occurred at the intersection of Highway 56 and County Road 9 Boulevard in Warsaw Township, Goodhue County, Minnesota. A 2020 Subaru Forester, driven by Richard Stanley Wanty, 68, of Foley, Minnesota, was traveling southbound on Highway 56 when it collided with a westbound 2024 Volvo Tractor driven by Khalif Ahmed Farah, 38, of Faribault, Minnesota. Heidi Lynn Wanty, 60, also of Foley, a passenger in the Subaru, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Northfield Hospital for treatment. Both drivers reported no injuries.The incident occurred under wet road conditions, and all individuals involved were wearing seat belts. The Minnesota State Patrol, with assistance from the Nerstrand Fire Department and Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office, is investigating the cause of the collision.
