Jermaine Martin Fatally Struck in Gage Park Hit-and-Run Accident
On August 9, 2025, at approximately 3:30 a.m., Jermaine Martin, a 22-year-old pedestrian, was fatally struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run incident in Chicago’s Gage Park neighborhood, Illinois. The collision occurred in the 5400 block of South Kedzie Avenue when a silver Toyota 4Runner, possibly a 2014 or 2024 model, ran a red light and struck Martin in a crosswalk. Martin succumbed to his injuries at a hospital.
