Alassane Tchandikou Fatally Struck in Chicago Hit-and-Run Crash

On August 6, 2025, at approximately 1:46 a.m., a fatal hit-and-run incident occurred on the outbound lanes of the Dan Ryan Expressway near 95th Street in Chicago, Illinois. Alassane Tchandikou, a 47-year-old resident of Hinsdale, was struck by a white Kia after exiting his vehicle following an initial hit-and-run crash. Tchandikou was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The driver of the Kia, identified as 34-year-old Marques D. Worrell of Chicago, was arrested and charged with one felony count of aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol resulting in death.
