Karl Poulsen Injured in Monroe, WA Pickup Truck Collision on U.S. 2

At approximately 5:48 PM on September 6, 2025, a two-vehicle collision occurred on U.S. Highway 2 near Fern Bluff Road in Monroe, Washington. According to reports from the Washington State Patrol, a Toyota Tacoma, operated by a 22-year-old male, crossed the center line and collided head-on with a Ford F-350 driven by 59-year-old Karl Poulsen.

As a result of the impact, Poulsen sustained injuries and was transported to Evergreen Health for medical evaluation. The condition of the other driver was not detailed in the initial release. Alcohol or drug use is suspected to have been a contributing factor. The incident remains under active investigation.
