Keagan and Gina Brown Injured in Fatal White County Crash

On May 28, 2025, at approximately 6:40 PM, a fatal traffic accident occurred on U.S. Highway 64 East in rural White County, Arkansas. The collision involved two vehicles: a 2017 Ford Escape, driven by 66-year-old Michael Brown of Augusta, Arkansas, and a 2017 Ford F150, driven by 23-year-old Griffin Miller of Searcy, Arkansas. According to the Arkansas State Police, the Ford Escape was traveling eastbound in the eastbound traffic lane, while the Ford F150 was traveling westbound. The Ford F150 crossed the centerline into the eastbound lane, colliding with the Ford Escape. The impact caused both vehicles to leave the roadway and enter the eastbound ditch, where the Ford Escape subsequently struck a tree.

Michael Brown was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body was transported to Powell's Funeral Home. Passengers in the Ford Escape, 26-year-old Keagan Brown and 26-year-old Gina Brown, both of Augusta, Arkansas, sustained injuries and were transported to Unity Health in Searcy for medical treatment. The driver of the Ford F150, Griffin Miller, was also injured and taken to the same hospital. The accident occurred under clear weather conditions with dry roads.
