Mitchel Frauendienst Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries in Fatal Highway 19 Collision in Dryden Township, MN
In the early hours of August 30, 2025, a fatal two-vehicle collision occurred on Highway 19 at 441st Avenue in Dryden Township, Sibley County, Minnesota. A 2000 Chevy K30 traveling westbound collided head-on with an eastbound 2003 Pontiac Bonneville. The crash resulted in the death of the 17-year-old female driver of the Bonneville. Road conditions were dry at the time of the incident.
Mitchel Randy Frauendienst, a 41-year-old male from Winthrop, MN, was a passenger in the Chevy K30. He sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to HCMC Hospital for emergency care. Alcohol involvement was confirmed in the vehicle he occupied. The Sibley County Sheriff's Office, along with Gaylord and Arlington Fire Departments, responded to the scene.
