Nathanael Rodriguez and Jeffrey Benham Involved in Fatal Rollover Crash in Creek County, Oklahoma
On July 17, 2025, a fatal rollover crash occurred in Creek County, Oklahoma, resulting in one death and multiple injuries. The accident took place at approximately 1:20 PM, just north of the intersection of 417th West Avenue and 151st Street South. The vehicle involved, a 1994 Chevy pickup, was driven by 19-year-old Destin Renfro and carried three passengers: 21-year-old Xzavier Harjo, 26-year-old Jeffrey Benham, and 22-year-old Nathanael Rodriguez. The pickup was traveling south on 417th West Avenue when it left the roadway, rolled over two and a half times, and came to rest on its roof in a nearby field. Xzavier Harjo was ejected from the vehicle and later pronounced dead at Carrus Lakeside Hospital. Destin Renfro and Nathanael Rodriguez were treated for internal trunk injuries and released from St. John Hospital in Sapulpa and St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, respectively. Jeffrey Benham was partially ejected during the crash and was admitted to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa in guarded condition with external trunk injuries. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is currently investigating the cause of the crash.
