Neva Fewkes and Patricia Hinkle Injured in Head-On Collision on Highway 101 in Port Angeles – September 10, 2025
On the afternoon of September 9, 2025, a head-on collision involving three vehicles occurred in a construction zone on U.S. Highway 101 at Baker Street in Port Angeles, Washington. According to the Washington State Patrol, a 2019 Hyundai Tucson driven by Scott Hooton of Kent crossed the center line and struck a westbound 2013 Subaru Outback driven by Patricia Hinkle of Seattle. A second westbound vehicle, driven by Hannah Klabo of Kingston, subsequently collided with Hinkle’s car.
The crash resulted in injuries to Hooton, his passenger Neva Fewkes of Kent, and Patricia Hinkle. All three were transported to Olympic Medical Center for treatment. Authorities confirmed that all involved parties were wearing seatbelts, and that neither drugs nor alcohol were contributing factors. The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
