Patricia McAtee Injured in Pomeroy Car Accident on July 21, 2025
On July 21, 2025, a vehicular collision occurred at the intersection of U.S. Highway 12 and State Route 127, approximately 12 miles west of Pomeroy, Washington. The incident was precipitated by 79-year-old Dale K. McAtee of Ferndale, Washington, who, while operating a 2018 Chevrolet Corvette, failed to yield at a stop sign. This resulted in a collision with a 2023 Chevrolet Silverado. Patricia L. McAtee, a 71-year-old passenger in the Corvette and also from Ferndale, sustained injuries during the crash and was subsequently transported to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston for medical attention.Both occupants of the Corvette were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident, and no evidence of drugs or alcohol was reported. The driver of the Silverado, 44-year-old Levi P. Walker of Pullman, emerged uninjured. Both vehicles involved were deemed totaled and removed from the scene. Dale McAtee has been issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way by the Washington State Patrol.
