Pedestrian Denise Ness Seriously Injured in Itasca County, Minnesota Crash (September 24, 2025)
On September 23, 2025, a collision on Highway 6 in Itasca County, Minnesota, resulted in life-threatening injuries to a pedestrian. The incident occurred at approximately 9:41 a.m. near the intersection of County Road 14. A Dodge Ram and an attached camper were parked on the southbound side of the highway. While the occupants of the Ram were outside of the vehicle, a Toyota Prius traveling southbound struck the rear of the camper.
The force of the impact caused the camper to move forward and strike a passenger of the Dodge Ram, identified as 64-year-old Denise Lynn Ness of Bemidji. Ness sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to Sanford Fargo West for treatment. The drivers of both vehicles, Duane James Ness and Jill Anne Radman, were not injured. The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating the incident.
