Ronald Anderson Dies in Dog Attack in Tarrant County

On June 16, 2025, Ronald Grant Anderson, an 84-year-old resident of Tarrant County, Texas, was pronounced dead following a dog attack at his home near Eagle Mountain Lake. Authorities discovered Anderson seated in a chair with wounds consistent with dog bites. Investigators believe he was attacked in his yard on Slay Street near Ten Mile Bridge Road before entering his home, where he succumbed to his injuries just before 4:30 p.m.Three dogs from a neighboring property, suspected to be involved in the incident, have been seized by officials. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the official cause of death, and the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office continues its investigation into the circumstances surrounding the event.
