Shirley Coleman Fatally Injured in Jonesboro, Arkansas Crash on August 18, 2025

On the afternoon of August 18, 2025, a fatal two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of State Highway 141 and Craighead County Road 766 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. According to a preliminary report by Arkansas State Police, a 2017 Mack truck traveling south attempted a left turn onto CR 766 and entered the path of a northbound 2006 Nissan. The Nissan was driven by 82-year-old James Coleman, with 79-year-old Shirley F. Coleman as the passenger.

Both individuals were transported to a local hospital following the crash. Shirley F. Coleman later succumbed to her injuries. The driver of the truck involved in the incident has not been publicly identified. The crash remains under investigation by authorities.
