On May 20, 2025, at approximately 6:20 PM, a vehicular collision occurred at the intersection of Minnesota Highway 23 and Interstate 94 in Saint Joseph Township, Stearns County, Minnesota. The incident involved a 2014 Ford Escape, operated by Sueann Kepner, a 57-year-old resident of Benson, Minnesota, and a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Dallas Raymond Newman, a 31-year-old from South Haven, Minnesota. Official reports from the Minnesota State Patrol indicate that the Ford Escape was traveling eastbound on Highway 23, while the Chevrolet Silverado attempted to turn onto eastbound Interstate 94 from westbound Highway 23, resulting in a collision under wet road conditions. Sueann Kepner sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to St. Cloud Hospital, whereas Dallas Newman, also injured, did not require hospital transport.
