Vinette Menshek Injured in Head-On Collision on Highway 95 in Princeton Township

On April 13, 2025, at approximately 6:18 PM, a serious traffic accident occurred on Highway 95 at milepost 22 in Princeton Township, Mille Lacs County, Minnesota. The incident involved a 2001 GMC New Sierra driven by 17-year-old Colton Robert Piekarski of Little Falls and a 2023 Buick Enclave operated by 67-year-old Vinette Sue Menshek of Princeton. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the GMC was traveling westbound when it attempted to pass traffic ahead. Simultaneously, the Buick was traveling eastbound. Both drivers swerved to the shoulder in an attempt to avoid a collision but unfortunately collided head-on. All individuals involved, including Vinette Menshek and her passengers, 40-year-old Jody Ann Kamann and 0-year-old Phenassa Kamann, both from Princeton, were transported to M Health Fairview Northland Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The airbags in both vehicles deployed, and all occupants were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident. Road conditions were dry, and authorities have confirmed that alcohol was not a factor. The Mille Lacs County Sheriff’s Office, Princeton Police Department, and Aircare provided assistance at the scene.
