Alexandra Ordaz and Ruiz Pardo Identified in Fatal Collision | Lubbock, Texas | August 9, 2025
On August 9, 2025, two individuals lost their lives following a severe overnight crash in southwest Lubbock. The Lubbock Police Department confirmed that the incident occurred just after 1 a.m. near the intersection of 64th Street and Milwaukee Avenue. Authorities identified the deceased as 31-year-old Alexandra Ordaz and 28-year-old Ruiz Pardo, both occupants of one of the vehicles involved in the collision.
According to investigators, Pardo was traveling south on Milwaukee Avenue and attempting to turn east into a convenience store parking lot when his vehicle collided with another passenger car driven by 34-year-old Jimmy Janssen, who was reportedly traveling north at a high rate of speed. The impact caused Pardo’s vehicle to strike a utility pole. Ordaz was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, while Pardo, who was partially ejected, was transported to University Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Janssen sustained serious injuries and remains hospitalized. The investigation remains ongoing.
