Alfredo Huerta Injured in Richland I-182 Multi-Vehicle Crash – October 22, 2025

On October 22, 2025, Alfredo C. Huerta, 50, of Pasco, Washington, was involved in a multi-vehicle collision along Interstate 182 near the Queensgate interchange in Richland. The incident occurred around 6:00 p.m. when a Ford C-Max driven by a 56-year-old Richland man collided with the rear of a Chevrolet Silverado, which Huerta was operating. The Silverado subsequently struck another pickup truck. Huerta was transported to Kadlec Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The collision resulted in a single fatality, the Ford C-Max driver, while the third driver sustained minor injuries. Authorities have ruled out alcohol and drugs as contributing factors and continue to investigate the precise cause of the chain-reaction crash. No additional injuries were reported. Huerta’s current condition has not been publicly disclosed.
