Bailey Alexis Leake Injured in Caledonia Township, Minnesota Crash on February 1, 2026 After Vehicle Leaves Highway 44

On February 1, 2026, a single-vehicle crash was reported along Highway 44 near Mile Post 54 in Caledonia Township, located in Minnesota’s Houston County. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2011 Honda Pilot traveling northbound left the roadway under snow- and ice-covered conditions. Emergency personnel from the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, Caledonia Police Department, fire, and ambulance services responded to the scene.

Bailey Alexis Leake, 29, of Spring Grove, Minnesota, was a passenger in the vehicle. She sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Gundersen Health System La Crosse for medical treatment. The driver and two juvenile passengers were also reported to have sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to the same facility. Authorities indicated that all occupants were wearing seat belts, and alcohol was not suspected as a factor in the incident.
