Christian Santilli Seriously Injured in Shirley Two-Vehicle Crash

On May 8, 2025, at approximately 7:36 a.m., a two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Lawrence Road and Hounslow Road in Shirley, New York. Christian Santilli, a 20-year-old resident of Shirley, was driving a northbound 2017 Toyota Corolla when it was struck by an eastbound 2002 Ford Escape operated by Marie Nicole, 37, of Mastic Beach. Santilli sustained serious injuries and was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment, while Nicole was treated for minor injuries at the same facility.The Suffolk County Police impounded both vehicles for a safety check and are continuing their investigation into the incident.
