On January 27, 2026, a two-vehicle collision on State Route 6 west of Chehalis, Washington, resulted in one fatality and left 37-year-old Daniel J. Nederlander of Onalaska injured. Authorities reported that an eastbound 2020 Ford Transit van attempted to turn left onto Stearns Road and entered the path of a westbound 2012 Ford F-350 pickup driven by Nederlander.
