Debra Kruse Injured in Highway 60 Crash Near Heron Lake, Minnesota on November 9, 2025

A collision involving three vehicles on Highway 60 near Heron Lake, Minnesota, resulted in non-life-threatening injuries to 57-year-old Debra Kruse of Comfrey. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the incident occurred shortly after 3:30 p.m. when a westbound Chevrolet Silverado lost control after encountering snow and ice, crossed the median, and entered the eastbound lanes. The Silverado subsequently struck a Buick Enclave driven by Kruse and a Genesis G80.

Kruse was transported to the hospital in Windom, while the driver of the Silverado was taken to Worthington for treatment. Troopers noted that snow and ice-covered roadway conditions were contributing factors in the crash. Multiple agencies, including the Minnesota DNR, Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, and local fire departments, assisted at the scene as authorities worked to clear the roadway and assess the incident.
