Donald Dougal Fatally Struck in Kildeer Pedestrian Accident on November 27, 2025
On November 27, 2025, Donald Dougal, 71, of Barrington, Illinois, was fatally struck by a motor vehicle while crossing Quentin Road south of Rand Road in Kildeer. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. First responders arrived promptly, but Dougal was pronounced dead at the scene. Preliminary investigations indicate no suspicion of impairment on the part of the 24-year-old driver involved. Multiple agencies, including Lake Zurich Police Department, Lake County Sheriff’s Office, and Lake Zurich Fire Rescue, responded to the scene.
