Elaine Jean Fleming Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash at Highway 2 and 63rd Ave NW in Pike Bay Township, Minnesota on February 10, 2026

On February 10, 2026, Elaine Jean Fleming, 73, of Cass Lake, was injured in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 2 and 63rd Avenue NW in Pike Bay Township. The crash occurred at approximately 7:57 a.m. when a 2008 Pontiac G6 traveling northbound on 63rd Avenue NW attempted to cross Highway 2 and collided with Fleming’s westbound 2016 Toyota Camry. Road conditions were reported as dry at the time of the incident.

According to authorities, Fleming sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Sanford Bemidji Medical Center for treatment. The driver of the Pontiac, a 19-year-old woman from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, also suffered non-life-threatening injuries. A passenger in the Pontiac was not injured. Airbags deployed in both vehicles, and all occupants were reported to be wearing seat belts. Alcohol was suspected as a factor for the Pontiac driver. The crash remains under review by responding agencies.
