Elizabet Miranda Killed in Terry County, Texas Crash on U.S. Highway 385 | November 19, 2025 Semi-Truck Collision
A fatal traffic collision in Terry County, Texas, claimed the life of Elizabet Miranda, 29, during the afternoon hours of November 19, 2025. The crash occurred shortly after 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 385 and FM 2196. Miranda was driving northbound on U.S. Highway 385 when her vehicle was struck by a semi-truck entering the intersection.
According to investigators with the Texas Department of Public Safety, the semi-truck, driven by 45-year-old Rosalba Munoz, failed to stop at a posted stop sign while traveling eastbound on FM 2196. The truck entered the intersection and collided with Miranda’s passenger car. Elizabet Miranda was pronounced dead at the scene. Munoz was transported to Brownfield Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. The investigation remains under review by state authorities.
