Eriyon Tecson Killed in Jenks, Oklahoma - Good Samaritan Run Over by Boyfriend of Woman She Helped, December 2025
Eriyon Tecson, a resident of Oklahoma, died in December 2025 after being run over by a vehicle outside a residence in Jenks, Oklahoma. According to court documents and investigative findings, Tecson had agreed to assist Dayna Fesler, a stranger she encountered at a convenience store, by providing transportation to a family member's residence. The two individuals had no prior acquaintance before this incident. Tecson remained at the location for over thirty minutes with Fesler before the arrival of Uriel Cazares Vega, Fesler's boyfriend and the primary suspect in the case.
Video evidence obtained during the investigation contradicted initial statements provided by Fesler to law enforcement officials. Investigators determined that Fesler voluntarily exited Tecson's vehicle and approached Vega's vehicle before returning. Tecson subsequently exited her vehicle, at which point Vega allegedly accelerated and struck Tecson with his vehicle, resulting in fatal injuries. Vega was initially arrested on manslaughter charges, which were subsequently upgraded to first-degree murder based on investigative findings. Fesler was charged with accessory to murder for providing false statements to investigators in an alleged attempt to aid Vega. Fesler entered a not guilty plea, while Vega failed to appear for his December 15 arraignment, prompting a search by U.S. Marshals.
