Gloria Guevara Killed in Harris County, Texas Hit-and-Run Crash – August 8, 2025

On August 8, 2025, Gloria Guevara, 22, of Harris County, Texas, was killed in a hit-and-run crash that also left a 16-year-old passenger seriously injured. According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred around 7:45 p.m. near the intersection of Tidwell Road and C.E. King Parkway. Investigators determined that 60-year-old Jose Sanchez Olivarez was driving a white Nissan Titan at high speed when he struck the rear of Guevara’s red Ford Mustang. The impact forced her vehicle into oncoming traffic, where it collided with a truck hauling a trailer.

Authorities confirmed that Guevara, who was two to three months pregnant, died at the scene. Her teenage passenger was transported to a local hospital in serious condition.
