Hannah Ghidotti Killed in Port Wentworth, Georgia Crash – September 2025
On the afternoon of Monday, September 8, 2025, 21-year-old Hannah Katherine Ghidotti was fatally injured in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 21 and Rice Mill Road in Port Wentworth, Georgia. According to the Georgia State Patrol, an SUV turning left collided with a northbound tractor-trailer, which struck the passenger side of the SUV. Ghidotti, a passenger in the vehicle, was transported to Savannah Memorial Hospital but later succumbed to her injuries.
Ghidotti was a senior at the Savannah College of Art and Design, majoring in production design with minors in costume design and business management. Originally from Conway, Arkansas, she was recognized by peers and faculty for her creative storytelling. The investigation into the incident remains ongoing, with charges pending. The Georgia State Patrol’s Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team and Commercial Vehicle Enforcement division are actively involved in the case.
