James Gadberry Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision on US Highway 62 in Gassville, AR

On August 16, 2025, at approximately 6:05 PM, a fatal two-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of US Highway 62 and County Road 1160 in Gassville, Baxter County, Arkansas. A 2011 Chevrolet traveling south on CR 1160 failed to yield and was struck on the driver’s side by a 2016 Dodge Ram traveling west on Highway 62. The impact resulted in the deaths of two occupants in the Chevrolet.

James Gadberry, age 43, of Gassville, AR, was pronounced deceased at the scene. He was a passenger in the Chevrolet at the time of the collision. The driver, Amanda Dickerson, age 45, also of Gassville, was also killed. Two individuals in the Dodge Ram—Justin Lunde and Donald Chritz, both of Flippin—sustained injuries and were transported to Cox Health Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri. Road and weather conditions were reported as dry and clear at the time of the incident.
