Judith Ann Johnson Injured in Highway 169 Crash Near Lake Prairie Township, Minnesota on December 8, 2025

Judith Ann Johnson, 78, of Winnebago, Minnesota, was injured in a single-vehicle crash on the morning of December 8, 2025, in Nicollet County. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the incident occurred at approximately 10:01 a.m. on northbound Highway 169 near milepost 71 in Lake Prairie Township. A 2024 Dodge Ram pickup left the roadway under snowy and icy conditions and struck a group of trees.

Johnson was a passenger in the vehicle, which was driven by Elizabeth Ann Schavey, 52, also of Winnebago. Authorities reported that Johnson sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to River’s Edge Hospital for treatment. The driver was not injured. Alcohol was not a factor, seat belts were in use, and the crash remains documented as a weather-related roadway departure.
