Kristen Chisum Floyd Killed in Highway 207 Crash Near Borger, Carson County, TX – November 27, 2025 Rollover Incident

On November 27, 2025, near Borger in Carson County, Texas, Kristen Chisum Floyd, 42, of Stinnett, was killed in a rollover crash along Highway 207. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision occurred at approximately 2:25 p.m. when a southbound 2020 Ford F-350 entered a curve roughly eight miles south of Borger and veered into the northbound lane. A 2005 Ford Expedition traveling northbound attempted to avoid the oncoming truck. Authorities state that the driver swerved and overcorrected, causing the SUV to roll.

Kristen Chisum Floyd was pronounced dead at the scene. Five other occupants of the Expedition—Curtis Floyd, 42, Karley Floyd, 19, and three juvenile passengers ages 12, 13, and 8—were transported to an area hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening. The circumstances leading to the truck’s movement into the opposite lane remain under investigation by state authorities. The crash adds to a series of serious roadway incidents in the region’s rural corridors, where curves and high speeds often leave little margin for correction.
