Lee Marie Hagerty Dies After Pedestrian Crash in Bridgewater, Massachusetts on January 27, 2026

On January 27, 2026, Lee Marie Hagerty, 55, of Bridgewater, was fatally injured after being struck by an SUV along Pleasant Street, also known as Route 104. Emergency responders from the Bridgewater Police and Fire Departments were dispatched at approximately 5:15 p.m. to the area near 792 Pleasant St., close to the intersection of Scotland Boulevard. Hagerty was transported by ambulance to Boston Medical Center–South in Brockton, where she was later pronounced dead.

The Plymouth County District Attorney's Office confirmed her identity. Preliminary findings indicate Hagerty was in the roadway at the time of the collision. The 63-year-old driver of the Honda CRV remained at the scene and has been cooperating with authorities. The incident remains under investigation by the Bridgewater Police Accident Reconstruction Unit, local detectives, and the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit.
