Lisa McGeary Identified in Fatal Redwood Road Collision in West Jordan, Utah on November 18, 2025

Authorities in West Jordan, Utah, have identified 66-year-old Lisa McGeary as the victim of a fatal two-vehicle collision that occurred on Redwood Road on the evening of November 18, 2025. According to law enforcement, the incident took place at approximately 8:38 p.m., when McGeary was exiting the Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery parking lot after attending funeral services. Her vehicle, an Acura, entered Redwood Road and was struck by a southbound Tesla carrying three occupants, all of whom sustained minor injuries. McGeary was transported to a local hospital in critical condition and later died as a result of her injuries.

The collision resulted in the closure of Redwood Road between 6100 South and 7000 South for several hours while investigators examined the scene. The West Jordan Police Department has indicated that the cause of the crash remains under investigation, including whether impairment may have been a contributing factor. No additional details have been released at this time.
