Ilana Ramires Injured in Fatal Crash on Highway 62 in Garfield, Arkansas – October 3, 2025

On October 3, 2025, at approximately 11:07 PM, a fatal collision occurred on Highway 62 in Garfield, Benton County, Arkansas. A 2023 Freightliner traveling eastbound reportedly left the roadway, overcorrected, and crossed into the westbound lane where it struck a 2017 Jeep. The impact caused the Jeep to leave the roadway, overturn, and collide with a tree. Weather and road conditions were clear and dry at the time of the incident.

Ilana Ramires, 21, of Rogers, Arkansas, was a passenger in the Jeep and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. She was transported to Mercy Rogers Hospital for medical treatment. Three other individuals were also involved, including Jazzlyn Leigh Elliott, 22, of Bentonville, who was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash remains under investigation by Arkansas State Police.
