On November 4, 2025, Michael Bushey, 69, of Saratoga Springs, New York, succumbed to injuries sustained during an incident in the Walmart parking lot in Wilton on October 16. State Police reported that two pedestrians were intentionally struck by a vehicle during a dispute involving a store employee and a suspect, identified as 34-year-old Timothy Besaw of Gansevoort.
