Authorities in Allen Park, Michigan, confirmed the death of 36-year-old Nicholas John Acker after his remains were discovered inside a mail-handling machine at a USPS distribution facility. Acker, an Air Force veteran who had been employed as a mechanic at the depot for more than a year, was found after being caught in the machinery for an estimated six to eight hours before emergency responders arrived.
