Owen Thomsen Fatally Injured in Riverton E-Bike Collision

On August 14, 2025, at approximately 6:00 a.m., a fatal collision occurred at the intersection of 1300 West and 12600 South in Riverton, Utah. Owen Thomsen, a 21-year-old riding an electric bike, was struck by a white utility vehicle that ran a red light while Thomsen was crossing a crosswalk.
