The individual was transported to CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Shoreline in critical condition and later died from his injuries the same afternoon.

The Nueces County Medical Examiner identified the deceased as Anthony Alcazar, 63, and confirmed that his family was notified. Venue operator OVG, alongside the City of Corpus Christi’s Risk Management team, initiated an internal assessment following the incident.
