Robert Castillo Ramos Killed in Midland, Texas Pedestrian Crash Involving Intoxicated Driver on November 3, 2025

Robert Castillo Ramos, a 64-year-old man from Midland, Texas, died after being struck by a pickup truck in the early morning hours of November 3, 2025. According to the Midland Police Department, the incident occurred at approximately 1:47 a.m. along West Illinois Avenue, where Ramos was walking in the roadway when he was hit by a white 2024 Ram 1500.

Authorities reported that the driver of the pickup was operating the vehicle while intoxicated at the time of the collision. The driver was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter. Ramos was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
