Robert Randall Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Route 6 in New Bedford, Massachusetts on January 2, 2026
On January 2, 2026, at an evening hour, a pedestrian was fatally struck on Route 6 near Pleasant Street in New Bedford, Massachusetts. The victim was later identified by the Bristol County District Attorney as 67-year-old Robert Randall, a resident of New Bedford. Emergency personnel transported Randall to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Police reported that the driver involved in the incident remained at the scene. Evidence markers indicated that the collision occurred approximately 50 feet from the nearest crosswalk. Authorities have not disclosed whether charges will be filed.
