Shannon Johnson Injured in Highway 14 Collision in Kalmar Township, MN – October 12, 2025

On October 12, 2025, a two-vehicle collision occurred on Highway 14 eastbound near mile marker 205 in Kalmar Township, Olmsted County, Minnesota. According to official reports from the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2016 Toyota Camry and a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox were traveling east when they collided, resulting in the Equinox rolling within the roadway. The road conditions were reported as dry at the time of the incident.

Among those injured was Shannon Michelle Johnson, a 22-year-old passenger from Plainview, Minnesota. Johnson, along with the other occupants involved, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Mayo Clinic for medical evaluation. Authorities confirmed that all individuals were wearing seat belts, and no alcohol was involved. The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, Byron Fire Department, and Mayo Ambulance provided assistance at the scene.
