Stacy Lynn Timm Survives Wood Lake Township Crash on MN Highway 274, Yellow Medicine County, December 5, 2025

On December 5, 2025, a serious vehicular collision occurred on Minnesota Highway 274 at 190th Avenue in Wood Lake Township, Yellow Medicine County. The crash involved a northbound 2001 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and a southbound 2024 GMC Acadia. Snow- and ice-covered road conditions contributed to the loss of control of the Monte Carlo, resulting in a head-on collision.

The driver of the GMC Acadia, 44-year-old Stacy Lynn Timm of Montevideo, Minnesota, was wearing a seat belt and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The occupants of the Monte Carlo, including 41-year-old driver Jean Elizabeth Hodgman and 14-year-old passenger Jonathan David Ramos, were unrestrained and pronounced deceased at the scene. Emergency responders from multiple agencies, including Yellow Medicine CSO and local ambulance services, attended to the incident.
