On October 31, 2025, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on Interstate 90 near milepost 31 in North Bend, Washington, resulting in injuries to four individuals. Among those hospitalized was 75-year-old Sue A. Person of Cle Elum, who was a passenger in a Lexus RX that entered eastbound lanes after the driver, Carl A. Person, lost control of the vehicle. The Lexus was struck head-on by an eastbound Ram 1500, driven by Rashid Rodriguez Baez of Bothell, causing substantial vehicle damage and prompting emergency response.
