Terrance Regnier Injured in Pasco, Washington Collision on September 22, 2025

On September 22, 2025, a two-vehicle collision on U.S. Highway 12 near the Snake River bridge in Pasco, Washington, resulted in multiple injuries and one fatality. The incident occurred around 1:40 p.m. when a Ford Edge SUV attempted a left turn onto Sacajawea Park Road and was struck by an eastbound Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.

Terrance L. Regnier, 75, of Greenacres, Washington, was identified as the driver of the pickup and sustained injuries in the crash. He was transported to Kadlec Regional Medical Center along with his passenger, Cheryl A. Regnier, also 75. The collision resulted in the death of a passenger in the SUV, 63-year-old Tammy M. Bench of Burbank. The Washington State Patrol has confirmed that alcohol and drugs were not contributing factors. The SUV driver is expected to be cited for failure to yield. The collision temporarily closed the right eastbound lane and triggered additional traffic-related crashes, causing a significant backup.
